It's pruning time in the Pacific NW!  For most trees and shrubs, pruning is best done when the plant has entered dormancy (think winter hibernation) and knowing how to prune properly will encourage healthy plant growth, flowering and fruiting!

I'll then move on to demonstrate how to properly clean and sharpen your tools to avoid spreading disease and ensure a clean cut promoting healthy healing.
